NCET 2026 Answer Key Released: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released a notification for the Display of Provisional Answer Keys and question papers with Recorded Responses for Answer Key Challenge for the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) 2026, along with the question papers and recorded responses of candidates.
The National Testing Agency conducted the National Common Entrance Test (NCET)-2026 on 17 and 18 April 2026 across India through Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode for about 73,608 candidates.
The Provisional Answer Keys, along with the Question Papers and Recorded Responses, have been uploaded on the website https://exams.nta.nic.in/ncet/ for all candidates who appeared for NCET – 2026 to challenge.
Where to Check the NCET 2026 Answer Key
Candidates can access the provisional answer key, their responses, and question papers through the official NTA NCET portal:

By logging in with their application number and password, candidates can review their responses and compare them with the official answers.
Challenge Answer Key: Important Dates
If candidates find any discrepancies in the answer key, NTA has provided an opportunity to challenge it. Here are the key dates:
- Challenge Window Opens: April 28, 2026
- Last Date to Challenge: April 30, 2026 (up to 11:50 PM)
- Last Date for Fee Payment: April 30, 2026 (up to 11:50 PM)
Challenge Fee Details
To raise objections, candidates need to pay a non-refundable fee of 200 per question. The payment can be made through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI. No challenge will be accepted without payment, and submissions after the deadline will not be considered.

How to Challenge the NCET 2026 Answer Key -step-by-step process
The process is straightforward and fully online. As outlined in the annexure of the notice:

- Click on “Challenge(s) regarding Answer Key”
- Log in using your credentials
- Select the question(s) you wish to challenge
- Upload supporting documents (in a single PDF file)
- Save your claim and proceed to payment
- Pay the required fee and submit your challenge

All objections will be reviewed by subject experts. If any challenge is found valid, the answer key will be revised accordingly. The final result will be prepared based on the updated answer key.

- No individual candidate will be informed about the acceptance or rejection of their challenge
- The final answer key approved by experts will be binding
- Accepted changes will apply to all candidates
