    NEET UG 2026 Admit Card Released: The NEET UG 2026 admit card is being released today, April 26, by the National Testing Agency (NTA), just days before the exam scheduled for May 3.

    NEET UG examination is scheduled to be held on May 3, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, in a single shift across 552 cities within the country and 14 countries abroad. Students who have registered for this examination will be able to download their NEET UG hall tickets from the official website—neet.nta.nic.in. The hall ticket is a crucial document for the NEET examination, as it serves as the pass enabling candidates to enter the examination center and participate in this medical entrance test.

    With over 22 lakh candidates expected to appear this year, this is one of the most crucial updates ahead of the country’s biggest medical entrance exam.

    NEET UG 2026 Admit Card: Where and How to Download

    Candidates can download their hall tickets from the official website:

    Official website: neet.nta.nic.in

    Steps to download:

    • Visit the official NEET website: https://neet.nta.nic.in/
    • Click on “NEET UG Admit Card 2026”
    • Enter Application Number and Password/Date of Birth
    • Submit and download your admit card
    • Take a clear printout for exam day

    The admit card will include key details like exam centre, timing, roll number, and important instructions.

    Exam Date, Timing & Mode

    • Exam Date: May 3, 2026
    • Timing: 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM
    • Mode: Offline (Pen-and-paper)
    • Duration: 3 hours

    Candidates must reach the exam centre well in advance to complete frisking and verification.

    NEET UG 2026 Exam Pattern (Important)

    The structure of the exam remains standard but highly competitive:

    • Total Questions: 180
    • Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology
    • Total Marks: 720
    • Type: MCQs (single correct answer)

    Subject-wise breakup:

    • Physics: 45 questions (180 marks)
    • Chemistry: 45 questions (180 marks)
    • Biology: 90 questions (360 marks)

    NMC Issues Strict Order to Medical Colleges

    In a major development, the National Medical Commission (NMC) has directed all medical colleges not to grant leave to students on May 2 and May 3.

    This move is aimed at ensuring the smooth conduct of the NEET UG exam, as medical institutions play a key role in exam logistics and supervision.

    City Allotment & Candidate Relief

    According to official data:

    • 99.2% of candidates got their first-choice exam city
    • City intimation slips were already released earlier this month
