Eligibility Criteria for MCL Recruitment
Educational Qualification
- Assistant Foreman (Electrical)
Diploma in Electrical Engineering (minimum 3 years) or Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering. - Technician (Electrician)
- Matriculation (10th pass)
- ITI in Electrician Trade (2 years)
- Minimum 1 year of training or work experience
- Valid mining electrical permit (as per rules)

Age Limit (As on 28 May 2026)
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Maximum age: 30 years (General/EWS)
Relaxation is applicable:
- OBC: 3 years
- SC/ST: 5 years
- PwBD: Up to 15 years, depending on category

Salary Details:
The salary structure is also attractive:
- Assistant Foreman: Approx. 47,330 per month
- Technician (Electrician): 1,583 per day (during training)

Selection Process
The recruitment will be done through a Computer-Based Test (CBT) only.
Exam Pattern:
- Total Marks: 100
- Two Sections:
- Section A: General Awareness & Aptitude (20 marks)
- Section B: Technical Knowledge (80 marks)
- No negative marking
Minimum qualifying marks:
- General/EWS: 45%
- OBC: 40%
- SC/ST: 35%
Candidates will be shortlisted in a 1:3 ratio for document verification based on CBT performance (as mentioned on page 4) .
