CUET UG 2026 Subject Correction Window Opens NTA: National Testing Agency (NTA) has released a notification for the Updation of earlier opted subjects for the fee-paid candidates for CUET (UG)- 2026.
The NTA will conduct the Common University Entrance Test [CUET (UG)] -2026 from 11 May 2026 to 31 May 2026 at various examination centres located across different cities in India and abroad, in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode.
According to the official public notice dated April 17, 2026, candidates can now update their previously chosen subjects between April 17 and April 19, 2026 (till 11:50 PM).

CUET UG is now the gateway to admission in central and many other universities across India. Since subject combinations directly affect eligibility for different courses and universities, many candidates had raised concerns after realizing mismatches in their earlier choices.

Now, the NTA has received several requests from candidates who applied for CUET (UG)-2026 for updation in subjects opted earlier in their online application form to make them eligible for admission in their desired University [participating in CUET (UG)- 2026]. Considering the requests received, the NTA has decided to provide an opportunity for the candidates (who registered successfully and paid the fee) to update the previously selected subjects from 17-19 April 2026 (Up to 11:00 PM).
Candidates are advised to carefully review and ensure the correctness of their
subjects to be finalized during this period, as this constitutes a special, extended opportunity.
