DRDO DLRL Internship 2026: Defence Electronics Research Laboratory, Defence Research and Development Organization, Government of India, Ministry of Defence, Chandrayangutta, Hyderabad-500 005, has released a notification for the Paid Internship (BE/B.Tech).
Defence Electronics Research Laboratory (DLRL) is a premier Research Laboratory under DRDO, Ministry of Defence. As part of an internship scheme introduced by the Government of India, DLRL is offering internships in the following Disciplines for students who are in their final year B.E/B.Tech in the academic year 2026-2027.

Who Can Apply?
To be eligible, candidates must meet these conditions:
- Must be entering final year (2026–27 academic session)
- Should have no backlogs
- Must secure a referral/sponsorship letter from their college
- Should be ready to complete the full 6-month internship
Students failing to complete the internship will not receive a certificate.
Stipend and Benefits
The internship offers a total stipend of Rs. 30,000, paid in two parts:

However, interns must maintain a minimum attendance of 15 days per month to receive the payment.
Note: Accommodation, travel, and medical expenses are not covered.
Selection Process for DRDO DLRL Internship
Selection will be based on:
- Academic performance (CGPA/percentage up to 3rd year, 1st semester)
- Interview or interaction (if required)
If two candidates have the same score, age will be used as a tie-breaker, with preference given to the older candidate.
